For about a year, the fast food restaurant McDonald's began its collaborations with artists such as J Balvin, Travis Scott and BTS.

Now is the turn of the American rapper Saweetie, whom you will remember for her world-renowned song "Best Friend" with Doja Cat.

For his followers, the collaboration was not a surprise, but rather it was something that would happen eventually.

In addition, this is a restaurant that the singer has frequented since her childhood.

"I grew up eating at McDonald's, it's a satisfying meal. I work hard, long hours, and there are only a handful of places that are open after midnight. So if I want to eat something in the early morning, after a long day of work, I go to McDonald's. When they offered me the collaboration I was speechless because I actually eat there one day yes, one day not. So it made sense, "Saweetie told Zona Pop CNN in an interview via Zoom.

Saweetie's Unique Blends

The singer frequently shares on her social networks her already famous mixes with her favorite food, mostly hamburgers.

And perhaps, this is something that many could relate to.

There are people who put French fries inside their hamburgers, there are others who put their French fries in ice cream.

For Saweetie, these combinations could lead her to create a new menu: McNachos.

"When I'm really hungry I put the chicken nuggets in the Big Mac and then the fries on top of the burger. One of the things I'm very proud of though is when I come up with mixes. For example, when I put the Chicken nuggets on top of the French fries, like nachos. Then I pour the sweet and sour sauce on top, like a McNacho (laughs). It's delicious, "explains the singer.

"People don't realize it but they always make these mixes, when you put different things on your fork, that's a mini mix," he adds.

For the singer, the most natural way to enjoy her combo is in the car and with friends.

"I like to eat fast food in the car. So do it with your best friend. Put on my music, order your Saweetie combo, ah ... of course, park, don't be driving," he said.

Saweetie's new music

Another project that the singer is cooking is her first studio album, "Pretty B **** Music".

Although there is still no release date, and is finalizing details, if we know that the artist will have a Latin collaboration, two voices to be specific, a man and a woman.

"It's a spectacular song. I think it will be one of the hits on the album. I don't want to say much because I don't want to spoil the surprise and the voices still haven't reached me. But, this song ... I'd love to say the name, but I do. I do will reveal everything so I can't tell you, "explains Saweetie.

We recently saw the rapper in Maluma's video for "Sobrio", in which Scott Disick also participated.

When asked if one of those singers who will collaborate on this song is Maluma, Saweetie said "Maluma is very talented, so I don't know ... we'll have to see."

Why did the singer decide to include Latin artists in this her first studio album?

According to Saweetie, it all goes back to her childhood when her mother, who is of Filipino and Chinese roots, listened to genres like merengue or salsa.

"My mom has a very eclectic taste in music. She likes all music, so I listened to merengue, salsa, bossa nova. I know several genres within Latin culture, but as a child I was always drawn to this music because it is cheerful already I like to have fun. So I'm excited to learn more about the culture and this song will be crazy, I can't wait for you to hear it. "

"I love Bad Bunny, Karol G, Becky G ... Latin music is doing very well. I have seen many Latin stars collaborate with hip hop artists. I think this is something that favors both cultures."
