35 male and female students have qualified for the final stage of the school programming competition “Individual Track” for the year 2021, which is held by the Syrian Scientific Olympiad Department at the Excellence and Creativity Authority for students from the fifth grade of basic education to the eleventh grade of secondary education.
The authority said in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that the final stage competitions will be held at the National Center for Excellence in Lattakia, where the participants will reside in the center's housing, and the competition will take place in its laboratories, between August 21 and 24, and over two rounds.
82 male and female students from different governorates participated in the qualifying exams that were held remotely in two experimental and official phases during the period between August 1 and 7 this year.
The student who successfully passes the final stage is given the opportunity to participate in the final qualifiers to join the national team for the Olympiad of Informatics.
The authority had launched this competition with the aim of revealing the minds who master the programming language among school students of different ages and to support the national team of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad with them.
