In Al-Mazraa Sports City in Sweida, the construction of a small grassy football field has been completed, according to a contract with an investor.
In a statement to SANA’s sports representative, Tariq Al-Afif, head of the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in Sweida, indicated that the stadium was built in one of the uninvested areas in Al-Mazraa Sports City, with an area of 50 x 27 meters. Daily for three hours for the governorate teams, provided that he returns to the Executive Committee in full after the end of his investment period.
Al-Afif pointed out the importance of this stadium to relieve the pressure of training on the industrial stadium adjacent to it, which has been updated for years.
On the other hand, the Chairman of the Executive Committee stated that the site of Al-Basel Hall in Al-Mazraa City was handed over to the Metal Construction Company to restore it in terms of replacing the floor with a qualified floor and restoring the ceilings and the podium completely, under a 10-month contract with the General Sports Federation, at a cost of more than 999 million pounds.
Al-Afif added that during the period of renovating the hall, the governorate’s teams and teams train with basketball, volleyball and hand within the open courts, according to a timetable determined by the team games office, and the halls under the municipal stadium are approved for strength games training.
It is noteworthy that Al-Mazraa Sports City in Sweida includes many indoor and outdoor stadiums and halls, and is an important sports edifice in the governorate.
