Foldable phones are still for a niche, but Samsung is looking to change that.

The company just took the wraps off the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, two promising folding smartphones that are looking to improve on their predecessors with more durable designs, cool new features like the stylus holder.

Samsung also revealed a ton of other cool new gadgets at its Galaxy Unpacked event.

The Galaxy Buds 2 boast a gorgeous design and are lightweight, as well as a host of promising features for their relatively low price (including active noise cancellation).

And for fans of wearables, the new Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are set to be a serious rival to the Apple Watch, thanks to their new user interface and wide range of wellness-oriented features.

  • This smartwatch is similar to the Apple Watch, but its battery lasts a week and is compatible with Alexa

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3

Our favorite foldable is finally getting a successor: the Galaxy Z Flip 3, a foldable smartphone that opens from a compact square to a modern smartphone.

In this latest generation, Samsung is delivering equipment that feels tougher with more refined design elements, a larger front screen, and more processing power.

The phone features a glass and aluminum construction that feels solid.

Opening and closing it does not generate a metallic sound like in the Motorola Razr and it feels more fluid than the first generation.

The Z Flip 3 comes in many colors: Gray, White, Pink, Cream, Green, Lavender, and Phantom Black.

Its rounded edges and more polished aluminum trim look quite charming and sophisticated in person on the lavender and cream units.

  • We tested Samsung's Odyssey G5 curved monitor and this is our verdict

The front of the Z Flip 3, when closed, features a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED cover screen that is much larger than the previous generation.

It's touch-friendly and can be used as a viewfinder for taking selfies, but it's also much more functional than before, with support for app widgets like Samsung Pay, music, and even the weather.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

Samsung's foldable flagship phone isn't changing much in the third generation - the Galaxy Z Fold 3 aims to offer a do-it-all experience even though the materials feel more durable in hand and it comes in new colors.

  • The entire line of Beats Studio3 headphones is up to 40% off

You can choose between Phantom Green, Phantom Black or Phantom Silver.

It's still a pretty chunky phone too, and Samsung didn't slim it down this year.

However, the edges are a bit more refined.

The front of the phone still features a 6.2-inch AMOLED cover screen and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

Samsung's Galaxy Buds family continues to grow, this time with the new Galaxy Buds 2. These new earbuds are the most affordable entry in Samsung's current audio lineup and pack a host of promising features into a sleek design that is also the most small and lightweight company to date.

The ovular and egg-shaped look of the Buds 2 is more compact and subtle than what we've seen on the Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds Live, and they come in four attractive colors: graphite, white, olive and lavender which we found. especially beautiful.

These headphones include active noise cancellation, as well as an adjustable ambient noise feature for when you need to hear your surroundings better.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic

Samsung and Google have been working on the new Wear OS for a while, and for the first time in history, the latest Galaxy Watch line could be real competition for the Apple Watch.

Not only do the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic feature a new interface and support for third-party apps, they double the health with a new 3-in-1 sensor. The Watch 4 is replacing the Galaxy Watch Active as a slim design without bezel that looks quite modern.

  • The little retro gadget that is a horn, alarm clock, brings games and to which you can make designs with pixels

Samsung's Watch 4 Classic keeps the movable circular bezel around the display and opts for a timeless look, though rest assured that with plenty of watch faces both can show you the time and sync with a Galaxy smartphone.
