"As Federal Chancellor, I will ensure the pace in the first year," said Scholz, when asked about his plans for climate protection in an interview with the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung.
He promised an “immediate restart”, especially in matters of planning law, should he become Chancellor: “The approval of a wind power plant must not take six years, but must be achieved in six months.” The same applies to the power lines to the south.
Scholz also wants to speed up the bureaucracy: “We have to accelerate the building law, the approval and participation procedures” - a demand that the Union and the Greens have already made.
In the first year of the legislative period after the federal election, Scholz says he wants to focus on a CO2-neutral industry by 2045 - and align the expansion of "offshore wind power, onshore wind power, solar power and power grids" with it.

For example, driving an electric car is more pleasant than driving a conventional car in many ways.
