And again a Bavarian Minister of State of Free Voters (FW) gave himself the honor of the company "blueFluxEnergy AG" in Peißenberg: After Minister of Economics Hubert Aiwanger in autumn 2020, Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber also visited the company headquarters on the former Peißenberg mine site.

Peißenberg

- The prominent visit was still a bit long in coming, when “blueFluxEnergy” board member Hubert Kohler was already spraying pure optimism in front of the main entrance of the company: “It's going great!

We have already landed the first orders.

It is important that we not only develop, but also build now ”.

For several years Kohler and his team worked on the technological planning of plants that can convert biogenic waste into green hydrogen, biochar, biomethanol and biomethane within a few hours in a carbon-neutral manner and at competitive prices.

Now it's time to get down to the nitty-gritty - namely marketing: A buyer has already been found for a large-scale system.

The deal should be fixed in around four weeks.

The final funding details are still being clarified in the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. “The call for green hydrogen is great”, stated “blueFluxEnergy” authorized signatory Ulrich Mach: “The technology has huge potential. The regional implementation means that you are no longer dependent on other countries. ”The ministerial convoy around Thorsten Glauber finally drove up a quarter of an hour late. The visit was arranged by the office of the member of the state parliament and FW parliamentary group leader, Florian Streibl. Glauber casually stepped out of his company car in white sneakers and a blue jacket - "The color goes with 'blueFlux'," joked the minister.

Kohler and his management team did not have to do a lot of lobbying work for the native Upper Franconia (Forchheim). Glauber emphasized that the generation of green hydrogen is a “crucial component” for the energy transition. The technology must now "get out of the laboratory scale and into real implementation". Politicians want to support “blueFlux” at precisely this interface. “It's just amazing what you're doing here. That's very cool, ”Glauber put it casually.

The company operates “civil engineering made in Upper Bavaria” and offers cities and municipalities in particular an “ideal form” for the disposal of sewage sludge: “Many municipalities are not even aware of the challenges they are facing.” Glauber spoke to himself during his flying visit in Peißenberg for openness to technology. This is the only way to successfully shape the energy turnaround: “I don't want to steal my way out”, the minister explained, “but anyone who believes that they can protect the climate with flowering trees alone is on the wrong track.

The Peissenberg company has ambitious goals.

According to Kohler, one would like to become no less than the world market leader in the production of green hydrogen.

To do this, of course, production capacities must be expanded.

According to reports, a new company location is as good as fixed.

The company will remain in Peißenberg.

However, they don't want to reveal exactly where: “We'll know more in four weeks,” said Kohler with a low profile.

But not only in terms of space, but also in terms of personnel, “blueFlux” is upgrading itself - whereby one is increasingly making use of two ailing large companies locally: “We are currently doing relatively well”, says Kohler - and: “Our technology has insane potential.

But political support is vital. "
