Fernández remains hospitalized in Guadalajara, Mexico, after suffering a fall on his ranch.

According to what was published on the singer's social network on Monday, he suffered a "spinal cord injury to the cervical spine" and underwent surgery.

The relatives asked the media to leave free access to the hospital so that relatives can enter, keeping their distance and avoiding infections that could "put Don Vicente Fernández's health at risk."
