The tragedy of a girl falling off a building occurred in Tuen Mun.
At about 9 pm today (12th), a girl fell from the heights of Dingkang Building in Anding Village and flew to the place opposite the flowering trough of the building. The security guard discovered the accident at first sight of the loud noise and immediately called the police.
Police and ambulancemen arrived at the scene and rushed the girl to Tuen Mun Hospital, but the girl was found dead.
It is understood that the 9-year-old girl was suspected to have fallen from the corridor on the 11th floor of the building.
After preliminary investigations, the police arrested the girl’s 51-year-old father named Wen on suspicion of "abuse or neglect of the child or young person in his care." A post-mortem will be arranged to determine the cause of the girl’s death.
