A shooting between drug gangs left four dead in Florencio Varela

Two drug gangs started a bloody shooting during the afternoon of this Wednesday and left

four fatalities

in the San Rudecindo neighborhood of Florencio Varela.

The tragic episode took place around 4 pm, when the Police received a 911 call from a neighbor in the area who warned about the armed confrontation that was taking place in the middle of the street in the Buenos Aires neighborhood.

Immediately, the troops were present on Laguna del Iberá street, which runs parallel to the Las Conchitas stream, which divides San Rudecindo with La Carolina II.

As reported by the local media Varela al Día, two of the four deceased had been

protagonists of the shooting,

while the rest were innocents who were walking around the scene of the dispute.

Matías La Rosa, 32,

was found dead on the "yellow bridge

", which crosses over the General Manuel Belgrano Road, while 50 meters away they found another of the fatal victims, who did not carry a document and still could not be identified.

Along with both bodies, several

drug packages

were found

.

Likewise, Milagros Paola Saavedra, 18, who had nothing to do with drug gangs, also lost her life.

Neighbors alerted the agents that, in a house on Ciudadela Street, the young woman was without vital signs, who was

shot in the head

.

The last victim was found on Ruiz Díaz de Guzmán and Ancasti streets.

The 25-year-old man was rushed to a hospital in the area, where he

died hours later as a

result of the gunshot wounds.

The bloody event is being investigated by Florencio Varela's Investigation Fiscal Unit No. 6, in charge of Dr. Vanesa Maioila, in turn.
