The Turkish Defense Ministry announced today the killing of one of its soldiers in northern Iraq.
And the Anatolia News Agency, speaking on behalf of the Turkish regime, quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the soldier was killed in a mortar attack launched by militants from the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
It is noteworthy that the Turkish regime forces have repeatedly violated the sanctity of Iraqi territory, which the Iraqi government confirmed that it constitutes aggression and a violation of Iraq's sovereignty and a violation of the rules of international law, and demanded the immediate withdrawal of these forces.
