Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke today (Thursday) with the CEOs of HMOs and told them to prepare for the beginning of the third vaccination campaign other age groups. Bennett ordered the operation has been scheduled for early next week.

5,946 guests were diagnosed in the past day new corona virus - according to Health Ministry figures released This morning, 421 patients with a severely defined condition, of whom 65 were respirators. 4.62% of the tests performed in the last day were positive.

Meanwhile, Corona projector Prof. Salman Zarqa commented this morning in an interview with 103FM regarding the possibility of expanding the circle of vaccinators in the impulse dose, saying: "You should not look at the chronological age, you should look at the risk. For example "The medical ones who are at the forefront. These are things that will come up for discussion in the professional committee," he emphasized: "This is a professional decision and not a political one."

Another issue that came up for discussion is the opening date of the school year.

Prof. Zarqa admitted: "There is room to consider this issue. We want our children to return to school in an orderly manner."

Zarqa also referred to the jump in the morbidity indices in Corona.

"I am very concerned about the data, and at the same time I am not sure that closure is the solution that will bring us back to a reasonable morbidity," he said.

"This morning there are more than 400 critically ill patients in the various wards so we opened the wards in all the hospitals. The corona is here and it will stay, the main weapon for life alongside the corona is vaccines, a green mark and a mask. None of us want to be locked up at home."

Zarqa commented on the decisions made yesterday in the Corona Cabinet, saying: "There is pressure on the brakes. Although we got used to pressure equal closure, but we were in the third closure that did not achieve the goal. Do not get vaccinated, so it may be that lack of choice should come and say boldly - "We have exhausted all our capabilities and there is no other choice but a locksmith."
