In the daily lives of all of us, we consume small beverage containers, marked with a deposit - glass bottles, cans and plastic bottles of a third or a pint for example. The price we pay for each of these includes the same deposit, whose minimum amount is 30 cents.

So, every time you finish drinking and throwing the container in the trash instead of recycling it, and returning it to the businesses that are legally required to get it from you - you just throw your money in the trash.

And just before you tell us "what is worth 30 cents to me? Why can it already be used?" We decided to ignite your imagination and collected some things that can be bought with a little resourcefulness and imagination.

Remember: Every day each person is allowed to return up to 50 beverage containers marked with a deposit to any relevant business (supermarkets, explosives, convenience stores, containers).

The business is obligated to take them and if you have more than 50, you can of course also continue to the next business and return it, or come with someone else and return a double amount in a single business.

You understand the idea, and if 50 sounds like a lot to you, consider how many containers marked with a deposit are used in your workplace in one day, or at the children's school.

In short, let's get going:

6 NIS - a pack of gum

Let's start with the simplest and most mundane thing that almost all of us carry in our car or bag.

To get back 6 shekels, you need a total of 20 beverage containers marked with a deposit or in other words, if you collect two of these every day and return them all in bulk, once a week and a half you have a pack of chewing gum that you did not have to put your hand in your pocket to buy it .

15 NIS - a package of small chocolates

When you return the daily quota you are allowed to a single business - 50 beverage containers, you will receive NIS 15 in deposit.

If your office needs such beverage containers daily, picking up 50 within a week and returning them to the relevant business near you is a pretty simple story and you can all indulge in a fun pack of chocolates for Thursday's Happy Hour.

40 NIS - a bottle of wine

Spring has arrived, Passover is coming and of course on Seder night we drink four glasses of wine (and the children grape juice ...).

In general, on a holiday where many people both enjoy family reunions and avoid drinking non-kosher alcoholic beverages like beer or whiskey, the wine flows and this is a great opportunity to keep aside all the bottles you and the kids use on the holidays and return them all.

The glass bottles in which the wine arrives are of course marked with a deposit and once you have redeemed them, you will be on the right path to pampering yourself with a new bottle!

60 NIS - business meal

Okay, let's move on to something more familial.

For example, if you are a family of 4, take on a challenge: each one will collect 50 beverage containers marked with a deposit over one month.

At the end of the month, bring them back together (this is exactly the maximum amount anyone is allowed to return to any business in one day) and go out for a family lunch.

You already have one business meal on hand from the deposit you just got back.

120 NIS - a quality football ball

And what about the group of friends?

You also like to play football with everyone in the neighborhood, but you do not have an equal ball?

Here's a great idea.

To get 120 NIS back from the deposit fee, you need 400 suitable beverage containers - not too complex a task if you have a bunch of 10-12 players. A little effort in collecting and you are all going to return the containers together and from there, straight to the store to buy you a new ball And elegant, which will raise the level of the next game.

750 NIS - a huge children's pool
