Hapoel Jerusalem is examining the possibility of adding Caleb Agada, Israel Today has learned for the first time.
Agada (26, 1.96 m) has excelled in the last year and a half at Hapoel Beer Sheva and last season averaged 22.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
He also played with the Nigerian team at the Olympic Basketball Tournament in Tokyo.
The player rejected earlier this summer high financial offers from teams across Europe in order to keep the NBA dream.
Agada is currently playing for Denver Nagats in the summer league, but according to estimates, his chances of getting a contract in the best league in the world are not high.
If Agada does return to the European market, he may return for a second term in Israel, this time in the capital.
