Sauerlach - The dispute between Sauerlach and Brunnthal over the construction of a well house is to be settled.

This is what the local council recently decided.

Sometimes it has to be good: The Sauerlach municipal councils do not want the dispute with neighboring Brunnthal to build a well directly on Römerstrasse not far from the Hofoldinger Forst motorway exit and thus not to escalate any further directly before the municipal boundary.

Many local councils do not want to pursue the dispute over the designation of a 230-hectare water protection area, most of which would be on the Sauerlacher Flur, so the impression was that.

In the most recent meeting, Götz von Borries (UBV) and his fellow councilors Markus Hoffmann and Roman Richter (CSU) spoke out in favor of a relaxed atmosphere across all political groups.

Decision in Sauerlach

"We work well with the Brunnthalers in many areas - and that must be possible in the future," said von Borries.

It is also about saving face, which is why the Brunnthalers officially have little understanding for the concerns of their neighbors, the UBV man speculated.

The new discussion about the dispute was fueled by an excerpt from the public meeting of the Sauerlach municipal council on June 23, 2015, which city hall chief Barbara Borgner presented at the end of the public meeting.

Among other things, it says: "The municipal council decides to temporarily allow the Brunnthal community to set up a groundwater measuring point for the exploration of groundwater and for determining the direction of flow on lot number 527, Sauerlach district."

The measuring point is then to be dismantled again by the municipality, at the latest after two years have elapsed.

An extension of the permit is promised if the new well and the associated groundwater protection area do not encroach on the planning authority of the municipality of Sauerlach.

Restrictions on agriculture

Above all, it should be avoided that a bypass road is prevented or the implementation is made more difficult, the development of the place and an expansion of the industrial area are hindered and restrictions on agricultural management are the consequences.

Neighboring property owners should also be informed.

In plain language: Sauerlach still feels that he is right because of this meeting resolution.

Precisely for this reason, Roman Richter demands more willingness to talk from his mayoress: “It's time for Barbara Bogner to just pick up the phone and call Brunnthal.”
