At 9 o'clock in the morning today (12th), an 84-year-old man surnamed Chen fainted while swimming in a swimming pool at No. 88 Tai Tam Reservoir Road, Hong Kong Island. A lifeguard rescued him and called the police.
The old man fell into a coma and was sent to the hospital by ambulance. He was confirmed dead by rescue. The cause of death has yet to be determined after an autopsy.
The police are investigating the case.
