Russia recorded Thursday, August 12, 808 deaths caused by Covid-19 in 24 hours, a record since the start of the pandemic which is due to the Delta variant and a sluggish vaccination campaign.

This country, which has been facing an epidemic resurgence since the beginning of the summer, has also recorded 21,932 new contaminations, according to the daily report provided by the crisis center of the Russian government.
