A Lebanese army intelligence force arrested today a gunman in Tripoli, north Lebanon, on charges of throwing a bomb at an army vehicle.
The Lebanese Army Command stated in a statement that the arrested gunman was accused of rioting and trespassing on public and private property. He also threw a grenade at a military vehicle, injuring a number of soldiers.
The statement indicated that an investigation was launched with the arrested person under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
