An attack occurred in Tsim Sha Tsui.
At about 3 am today (13th), a drunk man was reportedly beaten by another man at the junction of Knutsford Terrace and Kimberley Road. He injured his face, eyes and mouth and fainted during the period. Fortunately, he regained consciousness and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
According to sources, the victim's surname was Liang (41 years old). He borrowed a lighter from a man at the time. As a result, the two parties had a dispute. The other party punched him on the head and fainted on the spot. His companions were shocked and called the police.
When the police arrived, the assailant had fled without a trace.
The case was classified as "actual bodily injury caused by the attack" and the Criminal Investigation Team of the Yau Tsim Police District has taken over and followed up.
