An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit the town of Babamnir, located in Mamsni district, Fars Province, southern Iran, without reports of injuries or damage.
Fars news agency quoted the director of Mahor Milati Karjizadeh, where the tremor occurred, as saying: The necessary measures to determine the extent of possible losses in the region have been completed quickly, but no losses have been recorded so far.
Yesterday, two earthquakes measuring 3.9 and 4.9 on the Richter scale hit the town of "Anbarabad", south of Kerman Province, central Iran.
