Two seriously injured people were involved in an accident that occurred on Thursday afternoon on the B307 in Kreuth.
The fire brigade was on site with five vehicles, the main road was completely closed.

- According to the initial findings of the Bad Wiessee police, the following had happened on the main road between Bayerwald and Glashütte: At around 3:45 p.m., a 20-year-old from Seehausen (Garmisch-Partenkirchen district) was on his motorcycle in the direction of the state border and wanted to take a long right-hand bend Overtake the camper trailer.
The young man overlooked the oncoming Mercedes belonging to a family from Taunusstein (Hesse).
As a result, the motorcyclist crashed into the left front side of the car, so that the side airbag of the Mercedes was triggered.

Since the left exterior mirror of the car was torn off by the motorcyclist's head, it was thrown through the open window of the Mercedes against the shoulder of the 43-year-old driver.
The man probably suffered a shoulder fracture as a result.
According to the police, he was taken to Agatharied Hospital by ambulance.
The young motorcyclist also suffered serious injuries.
He came to the Murnau Accident Clinic with the Austrian helicopter Heli 3.
The severity and nature of the injuries are not yet known, the police said.

The main road was completely closed to traffic between 3:50 and 4:50 p.m.
This resulted in longer traffic jams in both directions.
