Dietramszell - A serious traffic accident occurred on Thursday (August 12th) around 4.40 p.m. on the St 2368 between Lochen and Dietramszell.
Four people were injured.
According to the police, a 30-year-old motorcyclist from Munich drove on the state road in the direction of Dietramszell.
In a right turn there, he lost control of his machine and got into the opposite lane.
"There he collided with the oncoming car of a 40-year-old from Otterfing," reports Police Commissioner Stephanie Soldner.
The Otterfingerine's two children, aged ten and 13, were in the car.
Rescue helicopter brings Munich motorcyclists to the hospital
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the collision and was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
The car driver and her children were slightly injured and taken to a hospital by the ambulance service.
State road near Dietramszell closed for one and a half hours
After the collision, both vehicles were no longer roadworthy and had to be recovered by a towing company.
According to the police, the damage to property is estimated at around 12,000 euros.
The state road had to be closed for about an hour and a half while the accident was recorded.
In addition to the police, an ambulance helicopter, three ambulances, an ambulance vehicle and the fire brigades from Linden and Dietramszell were in action.
