Corona spread in Israel: The
Director General of the Ministry of Health, Professor Nachman Ash, received tonight (Thursday to Friday) the recommendation of the Corona Vaccine Advisory Team to vaccinate third populations aged 50 and over, in addition to health care workers, patients with coronary heart disease, prisoners and wardens.
Tonight, Prof. Ash updated the HMOs' CEOs on the matter, and starting today, those aged 50 and over will be able to apply to the HMOs to get vaccinated or make an appointment for a third vaccine.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz will be vaccinated today with the third vaccine at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, and will be the first vaccinated in his age group after the CEO's decision. After receiving the vaccine, the Minister will issue a statement to the media.
