The controversy between Sebastián Villa and Boca continues, a conflict that has in suspense the one who was considered not only the best footballer on the squad led by Russo but in all of Argentine football, in the words of Juan Román Riquelme.

A couple of weeks ago, the Colombian stood before the leadership and decided to stop going to training.

The reason?

The football council did not accept an offer made by the Bruges club of Belgium to take over their services.

Days later, to make the situation more complex, he decided to travel to Colombia, leaving the club in the midst of a serious football crisis, with poor performances and without winning the local championship, despite the fact that he managed to eliminate River through the Argentine Cup.

This Friday, Villa decided to give his version of events and was surprised when he spoke for the first time about a serious health problem that his mother had to face.

He did it next to a photo in which the woman is seen in the middle of a treatment, surrounded by doctors and the footballer.

"As a result of the different versions related to my leaving the country, I want to express that it was due to a family issue, the health of my mother in this case who today, thank God, is feeling better every day. This makes me very happy and very calmer, "wrote Villa.

And then he clarified: "In sports, I want to make it clear that at no time will I be ungrateful to Boca, on the contrary. I will be eternally grateful to the club and its fans. I am very happy every time I have to wear these colors and so I will continue to be ".

"I just want to clarify that I always spoke face to face with the people who had to do it and raised personal, family and professional growth," he commented later, without giving too many specifications about the criticism he received from the leadership xeneize in the last days.

Finally, he thanked: "I do not want to stop thanking people who cared about my mother's health, which is really important, colleagues and friends."
