This Friday a new update was released on the state of health of the Mexican singer Vicente Fernández.

The doctors at the clinic where the artist is hospitalized reported that Fernandez is stable but partially sedated to improve his personal comfort.

They also added that the singer is fully conscious and in rehabilitation and that they await his recovery.

In addition, they added that they will give weekly updates on the progress of Fernandez's recovery.

According to a medical statement released by the Fernandez family on Thursday, the musician remains "serious but stable in relation to his vital signs" and continues to depend on the assistance of a respirator.

The text also states that Fernández's brain functions remain intact and that he is expected to regain his mobility.

Vicente Fernández's children shared several emotional messages of gratitude and support.

Vicente Fernández Jr. wrote on his networks: "Thank you all for your prayers and years of communication in the media!"

Hours later he published a photo with his father accompanied by a heart.

For his part, the also singer Alejandro Fernandez published several photos on his Instagram account with the message: "Cheer up boss! You always come out of difficult times and this does not have to be the exception. I love you and we want to see you back in the ranch. You are our example of strength and that you never have to give up! ".
