The question interests several million of our fellow citizens: will individuals eligible for a new dose of Covid-19 vaccine from September lose their health pass while waiting for their booster injection?

In theory, the health pass is only validated once the vaccination schedule is complete. However, uncertainty hovered over the validity of the document for people called to receive a reminder, for example a third dose: would a pass validated after two doses lapse while waiting for the reminder to be received, or would it remain valid? even if this new dose - proposed and not imposed - is not received?
Questioned by us, the Directorate General of Health confirmed that a "
person eligible for a booster dose will keep a valid pass
", whether the new dose is received or not. "
If the person does a third dose, they will have a new pass on which it will be marked 3/3, but the old one will remain valid,
" adds the DGS. No worries, therefore, for those concerned: their pass will be accepted, whether the reminder is received or not.
From mid-September, around five million people are called upon to receive a new dose of vaccine in order to strengthen their defense against the epidemic: a "
first circle
" of individuals has been established by the executive, which now awaits the opinion of the European Medicines Authority (EMA) and the High Authority for Health (HAS). For the time being, residents of nursing homes and long-term care units (USLD), people over the age of 80, “
people at very high risk of severe form
” - including the list was drawn up last January - as well as "
immunocompromised people
".
