Turkish regime forces arrested farmers in Şanlıurfa, southeastern Turkey, who demanded the resignation of the Justice and Development Party government due to poor services in their state.
The Turkish newspaper, Zaman, reported that farmers in the Feransehir district of Şanlıurfa province protested against the poor services and the power outage in their state, which caused damage to their crops and increased their losses, prompting them to cut off the highway and raise angry slogans denouncing the government's policy and calling for the Justice and Development Party to resign.
The newspaper added that the Turkish regime forces attacked the protesters who demanded the resignation of the government of the ruling regime, suppressed them, dispersed them with tear gas, and arrested many of them.
Farmers in the same area continued their protests despite the arrests, indicating that they will not disperse unless their demands are met and their rights are met.
