A California woman won the lottery jackpot last year.
But now she and their daughter have been murdered by their husband.
The bereaved family has no access to the money.
Oklahoma - The 31-year-old Tiffani Hill won € 1.7 million in the lottery last November.
She used the money for her wedding, which took place a few months later.
But at the end of July she was murdered by her husband.
Three of their children stay behind.

reports, the native Californian was at home with her one-year-old daughter when her 42-year-old husband came home and shot them both.

The youngest daughter suffered serious injuries and was admitted to a Dallas hospital, where she died three days later.

the FBI has taken over the investigation because one of the family members was a member of an indigenous tribe from Oklahoma.

The three children are safe and sound, the FBI said.

The victim probably intended to separate from her husband.
As the family lawyer explained to the news channel in an interview, winning the lottery also represented a conflict in the couple's relationship.
As the victim's family said in an appeal for donations, they did not have access to the rest of Hill's assets because they did not have a will.
That is why they are now collecting donations to provide for the bereaved children and to finance the funeral of mother and daughter.
