6,083 people have been diagnosed as verified in Corona in the last day, which is 5.02% positive out of a total of 122,934 tests - the Ministry of Health announced this morning (Friday).
The number of serious patients increased from 41 to 462, including 75 respirators.
To date, 6,611 corona patients in Israel have died from the outbreak.
A total of 35,025 people were infected this week, and their total number from the outbreak rose to 927,016.
In addition, there was a jump in the morbidity rate: the number of severe patients increased by 209 and almost doubled.
The number of respirators was also close to doubling this week, rising from 52 to 96.

The third vaccination campaign against Corona for those aged 50 and over began today at HMOs across the country.
Already during the night tens of thousands of queues were called at the various checkouts, and this morning the first in this age group began to receive the third dose.
The Maccabi Health Fund announced in the morning that 14,000 appointments had already been called and that more than 2,000 people were expected to be vaccinated today.
It is estimated that thousands more appointments will be booked over the weekend.
Meuhedet has also begun vaccinating insureds aged 50 and over, with more than 3,000 appointments so far.
It is already possible to make appointments at Maccabi and Leumit as well.
The Minister of Health, Nitzan Horowitz, 56, will be vaccinated today at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, and will be the first vaccinated person in this age group at the medical center.
