- A young Seehauser was seriously injured in an accident in Kreuth (Miesbach district) on Thursday afternoon. According to initial police findings, the 20-year-old motorcyclist on the federal highway 307 between Bayerwald and Glashütte overlooked an oncoming Mercedes at around 3:45 p.m. while overtaking a camper combination in a long right-hand bend. A family from Taunusstein sat in it. The young man hit the left front side of the vehicle. He then scratched the entire car, then fell with his KTM, slid about 50 meters across the road and remained in the ditch. The left exterior mirror of the car was torn off by the motorcyclist's head and thrown through the open window of the Mercedes against the driver's shoulder.The 43-year-old probably suffered a shoulder fracture from the mirror hitting his shoulder. The Seehauser was flown to the Murnau accident clinic with the Austrian helicopter Heli 3 due to his serious injuries. The total property damage amounts to around 30,000 euros.
