The new Montessori Kindergarten Dorfen would like to open its doors on the Tonwerk site in autumn.
There are still places available for three to six year olds.
Dorfen
- Behind the project “Montessori Kindergarten Dorfen” stands the association “Learning with joy”.
The new facility for three to six year old children is planned to open on October 4th on the Tonwerk site.
After the demand survey in the spring, it became clear that many parents wanted alternative childcare places.
Quick action was taken: the contracts for the building with the Dorfen-based contractor Robert Decker were signed, a kindergarten management team and interested parents were found.
Now the kindergarten is almost ready to go and the anticipation is growing.
The opening times are from Monday to Thursday from 7.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If desired, the children can also have lunch.
"We already have boxes full of Montessori material ready so that the children are encouraged in their creativity and independence in the sense of Maria Montessori," says the future director Andrea Wettemann.
The St. Wolfgang company Janua-Möbel is currently planning a series of kindergarten furniture that is precisely tailored to the needs of the new kindergarten.
There are still a few free places, the group could take on more children, the association announced.
