The Forestry and Fire Monitoring Platform of the General Authority for Remote Sensing announced that the indicators of the danger of the spread of fires indicate that the forest areas in northwestern Syria will continue to be affected by the medium and high levels of risk from today until next Tuesday.
The platform published on its Facebook page an update showing the map of the intensity of the special fires index from the 14th to the 17th of this month, which shows that most of the forest lands in northwest Syria are classified as medium and high.
The platform indicated that the indicators of fire danger to the forests of northwest Syria will continue from today until next Tuesday at approximately the same levels for the previous three days, noting that they are accompanied by slight changes in terms of the location of impact.
The platform warned of the danger of igniting any fires and reporting any fire as soon as it occurred or any smoke was noticed.
