Nizam Ahmed loved the game of boxing since his childhood and was attached to it and competed in local championships in which he performed well and achieved remarkable results that were admired by his coaches.
In a statement to SANA Sports Bulletin, 24-year-old Ahmed said: At first I loved the game as a hobby and because it is one of the sports that gives the body a strong muscular structure. I joined the Al-Basel Center for the game in 2014, and over time, I reached a training level that qualifies me to compete in local tournaments, so I won the first place in the governorate championship for the junior category in 2015. And the third at the level of the Republic, and in 2016 and 2017, it won the gold of the governorate championship and qualified for the final of the Republic in both championships and won second place.
Ahmed added: After I was injured, I went to training in the game to start a new journey to teach the basic principles and the arts of boxing and its skills to the next talents and materials that will be on the podiums in the future.
For medical student Ahmed, boxing remains a hobby that refines the soul and gives a harmonious and athletic body and an iron fist, in addition to self-confidence and gives him an incentive to excel in other areas of life.
