A Ramla resident was arrested today (Saturday) on suspicion of smashing the windows of 14 vehicles in Jaffa.

The man, a young Arab man in his 20s, is suspected of committing the acts after reporting to Hotline 100 that he intended to burn the city and murder the person who broke into his own car.

Following the incident, the police opened an investigation and searches for the suspect in the morning, after threatening the callers to "burn Jaffa and break into vehicles", in retaliation for breaking into his vehicle last night.

He further said that he intends to locate and murder the burglar.
