The municipality of Berglern got a number of playgrounds ready in time for the holidays.
Mayor Anton Scherer estimates that roughly 50,000 euros will be invested in this this year.
Berglern - The lion's share was invested in the playground on Ringstrasse, which reopened a good week ago.
A little later, the one on Nikolausweg was open again for the children.
A playground will also be set up in the area by the Altwasser, where the developer has replaced his obligation to build his own playground, according to the mayor, by assuming the costs for the equipment.
The investments go even further: There is a need on the Blümelwiese, the community chief listed. One or the other is simply rotten. However, Scherer is satisfied with the development because the costs would be kept within reasonable limits. “We had to get by with little budget,” says Scherer. But something nice had been created for the children.
The playground on the Ringstrasse, which is also the largest in Berglern, has been well received.
Some things could be left there, such as the hut, but some had to be renewed.
The sledge mountain is secured and has also been preserved for the little sledge drivers.
Scherer says that thanks to the qualifications of the building yard employees, some things have been created or preserved.
With other things, however, you simply had to dismantle it because the TÜV complained about it.
"We'll whip them up one by one," he promised.
