Chile has managed to vaccinate 83% of its target population against the coronavirus with two doses.
A booster dose began this week for those who completed their schedule with the Coronavac vaccine from the Chinese laboratory Sinovac.
The first on the list are the elderly and will continue in a staggered manner with the rest of the population.
Infections in the country continue to decline.
