(A) Traffic arrangements

(I) Closed road

The section of Lao Wai Road between Lao Wai Archway and Yuen Yuen College will be designated as a closed road from 8 am to 6 pm on August 15, 2021, except for franchised buses, taxis, and public light buses (dedicated service) New Territories Route No. 81), emergency service vehicles and vehicles with valid closed road permits, other vehicles are not allowed to enter.

There will be a free shuttle bus to Tai Ho Road opposite Tsuen Wan West Station to the closed Lao Wai Road.

(II) Suspension of parking spaces

During the above road closure period, all parking spaces with metered parking spaces located on Lao Wai Road near Erpizhen Road, Jiulao Wai Bus Terminal and Lao Wai Road near Yuen Yuen College will be on August 15, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. It will be suspended until 6 pm.

(B) Public transportation arrangements

KMB will provide special service route No. 32P to and from Castle Peak Road-Tsuen Wan section westbound (between Chung On Street and Tai Ho Road) and Yuen Yuen College on August 15, 2021. The operating hours are as follows:

From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Tsuen Wan (Castle Peak Road); from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Yuen Yuen College.

Appropriate traffic signs will be set up at the relevant locations, and the police will guide the public on the spot. Public transport operators will also post notices to inform passengers of the above temporary arrangements. The police will implement and adjust road closures and traffic control measures based on the prevailing circumstances. Motorists who intend to drive to Yuen Yuen Academy should not only pay attention to the road closure time, but also check the opening hours of Yuen Yuen Academy.
