In the midst of the

malaise that exists in the agribusiness with the Government

, due to the fiscal pressure, the countless interventions that affect the dynamics of productive activities and the "eternal" promises about a lifting of the export stocks of beef, this week there were one step forward, that could bridge the gap to narrow.

The President of the Nation, Alberto Fernández, announced from Concordia, Entre Ríos, that

the social plans will not compete with the regional economies

that in many provinces do not find workers, for the

fear of the beneficiaries of losing their state subsidies if they take a registered job temporarily.

The situation was criticized from the business visions as union.

Now, Pablo Vernengo, executive director of Regional Economies of the Argentine Chamber of Medium Enterprises

(CAME),

stressed that this measure "will benefit SME producers, who will be able to raise the fruits of their plantations, without losing productivity and recovering profitability."

Meanwhile, José Voytenco, Secretary General of the Argentine Union of Rural Workers and Longshoremen (

UATRE

), stressed that "it was a historical claim and the announcement is a fact of social justice."

In this context, a phrase from the President resounded:

"We do not promote social plans, we want work."

It was no accident.

Inflation, and its other side of the same coin, the level of consumption of the population, no longer seems to be the only axis of the electoral obsessions of the ruling party.

That concern had a lot to do with agriculture, since Cristina Kichner said in December in La Plata that prices had to be regulated to maintain people's purchasing power.

Along these lines, the stocks for corn exports, the

limitation on external sales of meat

and all the official statements that blamed inflation on international grain prices were registered,

to avoid responsibility for what the Government cannot control, due to excessive public spending and the monetary issue that devalues the peso

.

But many leaders of the ruling party warn that they also

need to generate job expectations

.

Because the pandemic and its effects made the multiple assistance of the State reasonable.

But with the passage of time, in the face of the socioeconomic crisis that does not seem to find a dam,

thousands of Argentines ask themselves "what are we going to live on, the plans?"

.

And they are not convinced by the prospect.

In Argentina the experiences of state management do not have a good reputation, especially among those who are used to

making a living according to market laws

.

In that sense, something has changed in recent weeks and part of the credit must be awarded to the fact that the demonstration in the countryside in San Nicolás had a multisectoral imprint, and

the common denominator was asking for adequate working conditions

.

The Government took advantage of Patricia Bullrich's equestrian parade to lower the price of the multisectoral demonstration on July 9, in San Nicolás and other towns in the interior of the country.

But several leaders of the ruling party seem to have understood that much

more difficult than chicanery in politics is to neutralize the anger of the farmers

, who this time had the intelligence to articulate with other activities that demand almost the same thing:

that they be allowed to work - it includes producing and exporting - no sticks on the wheel

.

Fernández's phrase will surely not save him from criticism for

celebrating his partner's birthday while imposing restrictions on the work of millions of people

, but with a bit of optimism and a share of naivety, one must be encouraged to raise a new one. historical flag of Peronism.

Work is an organizer of personal and family life, and

that "mystique" is too much missed in Argentina

, which in less than a month votes in the PASO.
