The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Homs arrested three people on charges of promoting narcotics and counterfeit currency, as part of the efforts made by the Ministry of Interior to combat the phenomenon of drugs of all kinds.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that by following up on the activities of drug users and promoters, members of the Anti-Narcotics Branch in Homs arrested a person and seized 490 grams of hashish placed in paws, 88 Captagon pills of different colors and a quantity of smoke. Mixed with cannabis, weighing 15 grams, in addition to a sum of 708,000 Syrian pounds, 50 dollars, and an electronic balance.
The ministry added that the arrestee confessed during his interrogation that he had promoted narcotics and counterfeit currency in conjunction with two others who were lured and ambushing them and arresting them, indicating that the necessary control has been organized against them and investigations are still ongoing with the arrested to reveal all those involved and take the necessary legal measures against them. .
