The Landshamer is chairman of the FC Bayern Munich fan club “Red for the World”, which is celebrating its 10th birthday in August.
On this occasion, six of the founding members of the time have now met, the fan club has grown to almost 300 members over the years, reports Uffinger and says: "A beer whim has meanwhile resulted in a very charitable association."
Donate for charity
In the past ten years, “Red for the World” has donated more than 12,000 euros to social institutions and charities.
For example, to children's homes and “Sternstunden” from the BR.
In the statutes it is anchored that at least half of the membership fees are donated annually, the chairman informs.
Due to the corona situation, the association had to cancel the celebration of the 10th birthday, but the annual general meeting with summer party should take place if possible - it is planned for August 21.
The activities of “Red for the World” include not only donations, but also excursions, stadium visits, trips away, summer festivals, and a children's holiday program with a trip to the Allianz Arena, says Markus Uffinger.
