Dr. Sharon Einav, an intensive care physician at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, who treated patients in all three previous waves, wrote an exciting post from her heart in which she harshly criticizes the Ministry of Finance, the public and especially those who refuse to be vaccinated - "Do not expect compassion from us."
"Corona wards are being reopened. Do not expect the medical staff to show compassion and understanding when you reach them when you have not been vaccinated, our forces are gone," she wrote in pain following the re-spread of the corona virus, which until two months ago looked like history.

She wrote: "The war in the Corona has been raging for more than a year. We have hardened our souls and continue to risk our and our loved ones' infection while working with these patients. 65% of the Corona patients resuscitated in Israel have died," she wrote of the difficult feelings in the intensive care unit.
Dr. Einav goes on to describe the doctors' severe distress: "No one has written hymns about us, instead the public (and the Ministry of Finance) continue to complain about us, slander us and slander us.

Dr. Einav stressed that a problematic situation could develop: "In recent days, a battle has been going on behind closed doors: the medical staff are rebelling against the very thought that they will have to sacrifice their lives again for those who did not bother to do the minimum for themselves and society.

Shaare Zedek's CEO, Prof. Ofer Marin, conveyed a special message to employees and patients following the words written by Dr. Sharon Einav on Facebook, which were published in "Israel Today" and provoked many reactions.
