According to the news, Huang Liuquan, deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council, will come to Hong Kong next week to preach the "14th Five-Year Plan". It is expected that 5 to 6 presentations will be held, including key officials and senior civil servants of the SAR government and members of the Legislative Council.

The Legislative Council Secretariat stated that next Monday will hold a national "14th Five-Year" planning lecture, which will be given by leaders of relevant central departments.

The lecture will introduce the relationship between national planning and Hong Kong, and introduce the overall considerations of the country's "double cycle" construction and the opportunities for Hong Kong's development.

The lecture on that day is expected to last 2 hours, and it is planned to invite all members of the Legislative Council to attend.

The National People’s Congress passed the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People’s Republic of China and the Outline of Long-Term Goals for 2035" in March this year. In terms of economic development, support for Hong Kong’s promotion of its status as an international aviation hub and support for Hong Kong’s construction International Innovation and Technology Center and Regional Intellectual Property Trading Center, as well as supporting Hong Kong's development of Sino-foreign cultural and artistic exchange centers.

In terms of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the "14th Five-Year Plan Outline" proposes to deepen and expand the financial market connectivity between the Mainland and Hong Kong, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong in various fields, and incorporate the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Loop into the construction of a major cooperation platform for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao for the first time .
