On Friday Enrique Héctor Chalar died, known by all as

Pil Trafa, leader of Los Violadores

and later, of Pilsen.

Undoubtedly, a reference (almost the only one) of punk in Argentina.

He was 62 years old.

He died in Lima, Peru, where he had lived since the late 1990s.

The post with the bad news appeared in the official Pilsen account where they fired Pil "with deep pain" and, far from any

punkism

, they implied that the singer of Los Violadores,

"physically left us due to a cardiorespiratory arrest."

His eternal companion on the road,

Stuka

, Gustavo Fossá for the DNI, the most complete punk guitarist who has given the movement, paid him a

sober tribute

from his modest Instagram account mentioning the absence of Pil, but without naming him.

In 2016, Los Violadores got together again to make a Luna Park, 30 years after their most successful album,

And now what happens, eh?

: "We had separated because

we got along like the ortho

", Stuka told us, drinking a beer from the peak.

"At one point I told Pil to separate the band. I went on vacation and found out that they had put in another guitarist.

For me the separation was there, in '91

".

Let's see who is the one with the longest

They had twists and turns.

They loved each other very much, but Pil explained the usual when it comes to rockers in conflict: "

The issue was the ego, that of seeing who had it the longest

."

In that image the dissent between the voice and the vote was summarized.

"Bué,

I'm a composer and he makes good lyrics

. Each one in his role. But also, I know how to produce records ...".

Stuka did not measure his words.

He was listened to defiantly, as if wanting to see to what extent his sayings could be printed in a newspaper.

Meanwhile, Pil - a most kind, attentive and courteous guy - preferred to keep quiet in front of the stranger.

How much twine did we have to put them to get together? We asked them.

"A lot! I'm not going to tell you how much, but a lot," would

reply Stuka.

Nothing will be the same

Now, visibly touched, from his account with just 10 thousand followers, Stuka -

dressed in black

, with a blind at the bottom at half staff - sings something that sounds moving:

"You're no longer here", "You already left ...", "Nothing will ever be the same

.

"

He does it from a site where he presents himself as "icon and founder of Punk in Argentina".

"

What I was went with you

(...)

Now I'm just meat rotting in the sun,"

says the emotional lyrics that round off a short melody strummed with acoustic guitar.

Pil Trafa and Stuka at the beginning of a career that left its mark on Argentine rock.

In the background a library and the comments of the fans: "

Beautiful tribute, I accompany you the feeling you have to keep fighting

.

"

Or "

Now you won't be able to fight him

.

"

Or "

You are living history, the other hero."

It is clear that that afternoon in 2016 we had not arrived at a good time.

Stuka

: "Keep using the name Violators. And hit Pernía! Cut her!

Let her court with that name

! She always uses the name of Los Violadores to do something."

Pil: "They

are also my songs ..."

Stuka

: "Could you stop using the name ?!

We interrupt: "Guys, you are going to separate again in half an hour."

Pil

: "Put that this is a unique show. Unrepeatable and historic."

Stuka

: "Better put that instead of debut and farewell, it is

farewell and farewell."

Pil Trafa and Stuka loved each other very much, but the war of egos was always on the verge of breaking out.

Over the years, good old Pil bleached what could have been his aesthetic condition of River Plate punk.

"I was not uncontrolled. I never associated rock with destruction.

I was not interested in the Sid Vicious model.

So there was finally a future," Pil told Clarín, years ago.

And he added: "I have no more gestures or impositions. Punk is a boy thing.

I reconciled with everyone

."
