The huge fire in the Jerusalem mountains refuses to subside even today (Monday), a day after it broke out.

Under the auspices of the wind that intensified at noon, significant fire centers are developing in Nahal Tzova, Har Eitan and near the localities of Shoeva and Shoresh.

Dozens of firefighters and ten planes are constantly on fire.

In the locality, the fire was approaching houses, and the police evacuated the first line of houses.

"The fire is approaching the new part of the settlement, right on the fence. There are no firefighters, there are residents there trying to put out the fire, the wind is heating the fire and it is in a direction that is not in our favor," said Danny Orgel.

Police blocked road 395 blocked in both directions between Eshtaol and Steph.

Road 3955 is blocked in both directions between Shoresh and Beit Meir, and the entrance to Kedoshim Forest is blocked from the direction of Road 38.
