The huge fire in the Jerusalem mountains continues to burn violently tonight (Tuesday), but some of the residents of the localities who were evacuated last night were allowed to return to their homes.

Residents of Kibbutz Tzova, Ein Nakuba and Ein Rafa are allowed to return to their homes, while residents of Givat Ye'arim are not yet allowed to do so.

Major combustion hotspots include Nahal Tzova, the slopes of Mount Pilots and the Nahal Ksalon area.

Road 395 is still blocked in both directions from the Eshtaol junction to the Steph junction, and Mevaseret Zion road to the Steph is closed in both directions.

Dozens of firefighters and planes are still fighting the fire in five hotspots.

Despite the political efforts to obtain air assistance in extinguishing the fire, and despite the fact that Fire and Rescue Commissioner Dedi Simchi announced a general mobilization in the fire brigade, some residents of the localities in the fire area are not satisfied with the state's functioning.

According to Eli Ben Zaken, a resident of Ramat Raziel and the owner of a winery, if a firefighting plane had taken off immediately after the fire became known - less damage would have been done to the area.

"We saw the fire in Beit Meir and it started to move towards us, the wind was northwest," he said.

"If the planes had taken off at that moment, it would have ended in a chic, with no damage and nothing. I got home and the fire had already reached here."

Ben Zaken says that even though the seat was evacuated, he refused to do so.

"We here ourselves fought, on this side, and then it became clear to us that it had moved east," he said.

"We were lucky, the fire passed from the left and right, but did not pass here. There is no direct damage, indirect damage we do not yet know, because the smoke is very destructive to the wine. We have about 60 tons that we can not use, the damage is enormous."

The winery owner claims that he does not know if the disaster was man-made, but that it is clear to him that the insurance will not cover all the damage caused.

"I have insurance for everything, but no one insures about it and it's not something natural, it's not a natural disaster. The state does not want to declare it an act of hostility and I am eating it here," he says.

"The state does not know how to manage itself, the vegetation here is not suitable, if there was natural vegetation there would not be this fire," accuses Ben Zaken.

"If there was an informed forestry and they would prune the trees and cultivate, because it is not enough to plant. We plant and forget, and it is not good enough. The situation is bad, because this is already the second fire we are experiencing, Man-made. "

According to another resident of Ramat Raziel, it took the fire brigade too many hours to take control of the incident.

"From 14:30 when the fire started in the moshav, and until 17:30, there was no fire engine, there was no HFK, there was no sectoral responsibility," he says angrily. At 17:30, the fire brigade arrived and it was too late for many places. "
