Olching

- A large canvas hangs in the courtyard of Gut Graßlfing.

Before that, numerous visitors have grouped themselves at the tables and beer benches.

There were around 200 guests, guido Amendt from the Olching brewery.

The host on this evening is the SPD member of the Bundestag Michael Schrodi, who has invited to the open-air cinema.

“I'm looking forward to uniting pub culture and film lovers at Gut Graßlfing,” he says in advance.

The weather plays along. It's a mild summer evening. A few clouds are passing behind the barn, but: “These aren't rain clouds,” Ingrid Müller is sure. She cycled by the day before to have a look at the venue. “I really liked the ambience and it's nice that you can finally do something again,” she says. The fact that, for legal reasons, it was not announced beforehand which film is running does not bother Müller. “He's going to be nice, but it doesn't really matter. The main thing is to get out among people again. I just want to enjoy the evening tonight. "

Andreas and Claudia Jonscher see it that way too.

“There is also something not knowing which film is being shown,” says Claudia Jonscher.

Her husband adds: “There are things that you do to be sociable.” But the two are actually here to chat and have a beer.

“We want to support the catering industry here.

For years we always said that there was no real beer garden in Olching and now there is finally something to go to, ”says Andreas Jonscher.

They are happy that the estate has been revived.

"Here comes the real summer feeling."

The collective feeling

Even for Alex Kindermann and Alexander Romberger, the film is not in the foreground.

“The collective feeling here on the farm is just great,” says Kindermann.

Romberger is also enthusiastic: “This is my first time here and previously only knew the estate from hearsay.

The open-air cinema was a good place to see it.

The ambience is really great. "

Yvette Riedel and Claudia Götzinger happened to come to Gut Graßlfing that evening.

“We just wanted to eat and drink something, but the idea of the open-air cinema is great,” says Riedel.

The fact that the film is a surprise is no problem for either of them: “If you don't like it, you can just get up and leave.

After all, you didn't have to pay an entrance fee, ”says Riedel.

She doubts that the performance would be so well attended if the attendance cost something.

Götzinger contradicts her: “There were also surprise premieres in the cinema.” She is happy about the event.

"Even if you have to keep your distance, you are finally among people again and no longer alone."

Jessica Böhm and Oliver Hirschi like that as well.

“It's nice that you can go out a little more carefree,” says Böhm.

The two are regulars at Gut Graßlfing and want to end the Friday evening there with the open-air cinema.

The fact that a surprise flick was on didn't deter them.

“You also have the same thing in the cinema that you don't like a film, but we are broadly positioned anyway,” says Hirschi.

Stefan Schlögl sees it similarly: “There is so much junk on television. I would endure a bad movie today. But I don't think the SPD wants to embarrass itself. ”If so, he has a pragmatic solution:“ I don't have far to go home. ”After two short campaign films, the surprise film starts at 8:40 p.m.: the British film“ Pride ”, trading in a gay and lesbian group that raises money for the families of striking miners. It seems to be well received, at least there is no mass departure from the visitors.
