The popular children's holiday circus took place for the 25th time in 26 years; where the young participants could get a taste of the circus. The circus family Frank set up the red-blue-white tent.

The budding artists tried out various classic circus disciplines in workshops - eight girls and eight boys were in a group. Aerial acrobatics, juggling, dancing, jumping rope, unicycling and also “fakir” were offered. Paul liked “Fakir” the “second best”, especially the trick with the “sword box”. After two days, the young acrobats decided which tricks they would perform at the circus gala hosted by Charlotte and Tobi. Then we trained and rehearsed.

25 supervisors and the service team “pulled” the holiday circus week with full commitment. Some of the carers were already there as children. What is special about this event? “It's the magic of the circus,” said Christina Bernhard, educational director, with a smile. "This includes community, a feeling of togetherness, but also reliability". Incidentally, a “holiday circus song” is selected every year. "When we play this song, everyone knows that there is something to eat or that we meet," said Bernhard. This year it was the song "The Cantina Band (John Williams)" from the movie "Star Wars". Supervisor and hobby juggler Martin Lauterbach is happy to be able to teach children something and to see how "they outgrow themselves," he said. Many of the children and young people take part in the holiday circus every year.

And the balance after a week of “Klabauter”: “Everything went smoothly,” said a delighted Christina Bernhard. “The children had an exciting, educational and exciting week. They were able to play and learn a lot and the fun was never neglected, ”says the educational director. The parents gave a lot of applause for the tricks performed at the circus show. And how did Paul like the holiday circus? “I thought the week was nice”. Many of the participants probably thought so. AsK
