Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Tulkarm participated today in a solidarity stand in support of the hunger strikers and the rest of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons.
According to Wafa Agency, the participants in the sit-down called by the Palestinian national forces in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the city raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the nine prisoners on hunger strike, calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to release them and all the prisoners.
About 5,300 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including about 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
