The 35th Graduation Ceremony of Anglican Tsai Gongpu Middle School will be held in the auditorium of the school on July 3, 2021.

Under the witness of school supervisors, school managers, principals, guests, teachers and relatives and friends, the fresh-year Form 6 student representatives received the graduation certificate from the officiating guest-Professor Ho Wing Kee of the Li Ka Shing School of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong, symbolizing a new stage in life.

In order to make the graduation ceremony go smoothly under the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Cai Gongpu Middle School reduced the auditorium seats and arranged many epidemic prevention measures.

After the student representatives led the officiating guests with the flag, the graduation ceremony kicked off.

The pastor of Ma Meina led the congregation to pray and thank the sixth graders for their smooth graduation.

Afterwards, Supervisor Zhi Song Kuang delivered a welcome speech and Principal Lin Yuqi announced the school work report. Principal Lin pointed out that under the implementation of positive education in Cai Gongpu Middle School, students continue to improve in character and performance, and are recognized by parents and the community.

After that, the officiating guest Professor Yongji He gave exhortations to the students.

Professor He Yongji went to Australia to study bioinformatics engineering after graduating from Cai Gongpu High School in 2002. He won the Australian Young Scientist Award in 2016 and has returned to the University of Hong Kong in 2018.

Professor He Yongji encourages graduates with his own experience. Most things in life are unpredictable, but he can embrace change and make his life full of hope.

He confessed that he went to Australia to study in the confusion, but in the end he had unexpected gains.

He said that although the life of graduates is impermanent, especially from a teenager to an adult, you should remember that you are not alone. There are family members, teachers, friends and classmates supporting each other behind you, so there is no need to be afraid or panic.

The graduation ceremony was held under the epidemic, and teachers, students and parents participated together with joy.

Then Professor He Yongji issued graduation certificates to the graduate representatives, and the class teacher gave graduation bear souvenirs engraved with the name of the school to the graduates of their respective classes one by one, and took pictures of the class together.

The board of trustees and guests presented awards to the winners.

The graduate representatives presented the "Campus Night Lights" made by 3D printers to guests, school supervisors and all school managers to thank their students; while students Cai Xueya and students Liang Yingwen gave thanks on behalf of the graduates in English.

Afterwards, the school broadcasted a short film made for the graduates over the years, and the Chorus Group of Cai Gongpu Middle School also sent blessings through the short film.

Finally, the entire congregation sang the school song, and Pastor Liang Lie, director of the Church of the Anglican Church, blessed the congregation, marking a successful end to the graduation ceremony.
