Corona: Incidence continues to rise - three regions above the 100 mark

The number of corona cases in Germany continues to increase.

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports almost 4,000 new corona infections.

Berlin - The 7-day incidence in Germany is 37.4 on Tuesday morning.

A week ago the value was 23.5.

The health authorities in Germany reported 3,912 new corona infections to the RKI within one day.

This is evident from the figures on the RKI dashboard.

A week ago there were 1,432 fewer corona cases.

28 more deaths are reported to have been recorded (previous week: 18 deaths).

The number of corona deaths has grown to 91,899 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Corona - Three regions over 100 incidence

At 109.8, Flensburg has the highest incidence in Germany.

But the Berlin districts of Neukölln (106.2) and Spandau (100.4) are also above the 100 limit.

Wuppertal scratches the mark with 98.8.

The corona infection rate is high in the districts of Heinsberg (93.5), Kiel (92.4), Mönchengladbach (92.3) and Bonn (91.6).

Corona: Turkey is a high-risk area as of today

Due to the increasing number of corona infections, Turkey * is again a high-risk area from this Tuesday.

People who enter Germany from the country and have not been vaccinated or recovered have to be in quarantine for five to ten days. 

The corona numbers in Turkey rose rapidly at the end of July, and currently more than 20,000 new cases are officially registered every day. At the beginning of July, Turkey eased the corona measures significantly. For example, no-night exit bans during the week and on the weekend were lifted, the catering industry reopened, weddings and similar celebrations are allowed again.
