First it was "Fear", then "Rage" followed and now it continues with "Peril."
This is the title of the long-awaited third book on former President Trump by legendary journalist Bob Woodard, this time written with Robert Costa, a national politics reporter for The Washington Post.
"Peril" goes on sale on September 21, and will take a closer look at the tumultuous time spanning the November 2020 elections, the January 6 insurrection and the inauguration of President Biden.
According to details obtained exclusively by CNN, the book will reveal how the transition period was "much more than an internal political crisis" and "one of the most dangerous periods in the history of the United States."
The book will be published by Simon & Schuster, which published Woodward's first two best-selling books on Trump.
According to sources familiar with the book, Woodward and Costa interviewed more than 200 insiders for "Peril," resulting in more than 6,000 pages of transcripts.
